This paddock formed part of the original Eastbrook farm that the Samwell family bought when relocating from their Summertown property that was destroyed in the 1984 Ash Wednesday bushfires. This field is named after the Tank which sits on top of the hill and is a farm landmark. The field is large and undulating. The field consists of light sandy loam soils along the upper portion of the field, with heavier loam soils in the lower portion. This can sometimes be challenging for irrigating.
