Cherry West (North)
This paddock is part of the original Eastbrook Vegetable Farm just outside of the town of Mount Barker. This paddock is diagonally adjacent to the Cherry east patch where the cherry trees were grown in the 90’s. It has a westerly slope, running away from the cherry east paddock, hence its name. It is very free draining because of its slope and light sandy silt soil. There are pockets of heavy clay which are gradually becoming more friable with cover crops.
