At Eastbrook Vegetable Farms we have been growing premium quality Brussels Sprouts for over 60 Years.
Not much has changed in this time, we still get up with the sun every morning and grow them as naturally as we can.
From our love of farming and the many years of experience which has been passed down through six generations, we have now become one of the largest growers of Brussels Sprouts in Australia. We are dedicated and passionate about our sprouts, and continue to expand on and improve our growing techniques.
How to cook Brussels Sprout
Wash thoroughly, cut an ‘X’ in the bottom of the stem then…
- Steam – Steam for 7-10 minutes or until just tender.
- Microwave (Do not microwave in package) – Place in shallow dish with a little water and cover. Microwave on high for 5-7 minutes until tender. For best results refer to your microwave manual.
- Sauté – Wash and halve. Toss with olive oil and cook in fry pan for 10-12 minutes or until soft and lightly browned.
After cooking serve with lemon juice, butter, and salt and pepper to taste.
